How Can mild Chest Pain Along With Rapid Heart Rate Be Treated?

I ve been having mild chest pains for about a month. It occurs right in the sternum. I ve been to the ER twice and they tell me my EKG is normal. I also have constant pain under my left shoulder blade and they seem to be related. (I either have both or neither) Could it be stress related or maybe a stomach issue? Also, the chest discomfort seems to go away when my heart rate increases (working outside or playing with the kids) Any thoughts? Thank you

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Chest pain has certain reasons. Either it may be due to ischemia, means blood supply to heart reduced.

It may be due to acidity. It may be muscle pain also. As you told two times your EKG was normal. So for a complete diagnosis, just do echo and TMT. This will completely give you the perfect diagnosis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
